About

Artwork started for Theodore at five years old with a crayon abstract that covered the entirety of his family’s interior stair wall at home. When this was cleaned and painted, he immediately proceeded to ‘redo’ his masterpiece on the clean ‘canvas’.

Theodore paints all over the world out 'in the wild' at all times of day or night, and paints underwater with scuba gear, to try and capture these moments in various media.

Theodore works using Transparent Watercolors, Acrylics, and Oils, and what he feels can best express the scene (as well as what materials he can travel with!).

Over the years Theodore has been fortunate to enjoy participation in overseas art residencies, art shows, gallery exhibits, and commission assignments. He has also taught introduction to art courses to young students to the possibilities color and composition bring to seeing the world around them in new ways.

Theodore’s goal with his artwork is that you enjoy the work, and it helps to inspire you to visit a new place, donate to a worthy cause, or just smile in remembering a place you’ve visited and have seen in a new way.
